EveryFrame matches every face in your school against your register, and obscures anyone who isn't cleared.
Compares broad approaches, not named products. Our own assessment as at August 2026.
Depending on the school, publishing student images can fall under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles and, in Victoria, the Child Safe Standards. The signed sign off record shows how each publishing decision was made.

Nowhere. Footage, images and your consent register stay on your school's own computer, and every AI model ships inside the installer, so nothing is downloaded after install. The app connects to one place: our licence server, to check the licence and activate new computers. It sends the licence key, the staff email that computer was activated with, and an anonymous computer ID. If your school chooses to connect its own student information system, EveryFrame reads your register from that system too. It never sends student data out.
No. It imports as a CSV: name, media consent status, biometric consent status and a photo per student. A student information system can be connected instead: off by default, read-only, and configured under a data-processing agreement. A sync can withdraw a student's consent but never grant it: clearing a student is always a deliberate human act.
It is automated detection and matching, so it is not perfect and we don't present it as a guarantee. Unmatched faces are flagged rather than carried through as cleared, and a person signs the record before anything is published.
It's flagged orange as “no record” rather than treated as cleared, and it is obscured. Finding a face means briefly detecting and measuring it, which happens even for a student who isn't enrolled, but nothing is kept and no identity is assigned. You can name a face in a click.
One product, one licence. The consent checking and the searchable archive read the same index, built in one pass over the footage.
A licence covers one campus, on up to an agreed number of computers. Each additional campus has its own licence.
Pilots in Term 4 2026 are free.
A reasonably current Windows PC with a discrete graphics card, the kind of machine an editing suite already has. We'll check your spec before the pilot starts.
No. It helps enforce the decisions your consent process has already made, and produces a record of how they were applied.
Pre-release. We're recruiting a pilot cohort, so schools joining now are among the first to run it.
